I want to call him gargoyle man. Since he has gray skin and sliverish grey hair. Also the blade is it in its sheath? Or is that the actually blade it self?

I was just asking because I saw no seem between the handle and the sheath if it is that. Because if it is the blade the dip at the top would be a very bad weak point also it appears to have no edge so it would ether be a regal sword meant for special ocassions like Knightings or something you would wear on your hip that wouldn't be a actually weapon so during metings no one could assume hostile attentions. So I am just saying it could be a show blade.

Well he is a noble and since we don't know the traditions and other things of his people it most likely is a show sword since if you look near the hilt you can see that it is far to thin to be a blade or a weapon of any kind. Since the thorn like siver layons wrap all the way to the guard of the hilt and the connection of the hilt to blade is so very thin and small it would be more logical to think it is a show sword correct? Since a real blade is normally thick as the handle is at where it connects to the hilt is it not? Or depending on the blade even bigger then the hilt having the blade act as the hand guard instead of having a proper one.

yea it does make a lot more sense to be a show sword but from what I've seen in the Anima world having a show sword would most likely bet a death sentence

Hell you never know it could be some wand in the shape of a sword? Maybe more of a thursting type of wand? enstead of just waving it around you can clash and stab like you would with a sword and the magic become smore weapon orintated ?

or a magic or plasma blade forms when swung! the possibilities are endless!

Plasma is just a high form of eletrical energy ... I mean you can end up with plasma floating around during high power electrical storms. Thought I could see this guy being like... Really man? You think because my blade looks weak I will lay down and die? One swing and your down missing both legs and probably some very important parts to a male... If you really pissed him off since the blade could act like a even more acurate aimmer for magic.
