Yeah... it IS difficult to shade white fabric. I generally just try to use a pale blue or a gray for shading. Black is difficult, too. Your pic looks fabulous!

wow i like it. you're right about the shading. Normaly i don't commnet on your stuff because i dont know what to say in order to stand out from all the regular comments, i mean, your stuff is great. But this one bothers me. I think her arm is a bit too long and big for her body, *dont kill me* ok i'll stop now...pretend i didnt type anything XD

I think you're right, but it can be explained by the mixture of cartoonism-is that a word?- and I think it's supposed to be farther away from her body and closer to the camera.

Her pose is very exceptional looking, especially the way that the dress trails out behind her and how she looks behind at something that we can't see. I love the elegant aesthetic and the design of her ring and the hanging earrings too. Green works very well for her hair too, and it's an unusual choice but a good one. I can't comment on your photoshop skills, being a nonvisual artist and intensely jealous of your skill anyways

whenever I do white fabric I start with a darker value and then add the white on top of the shadows
