And the adventurer gazed deeply into the silvered glass, not knowing what to expect. A calm night sky greeted her, crescent moon and stars sparkling in the sky. Where the stars caressed the smooth water below they danced and spiralled as a thousand gleaming feathers beneath the water's perfect surface. The adventurer stood transfixed, breath caught by the sight. Glittering darkly, the eye of the mirror could almost seem happy, peering into the heart of the one before it.
