first time drawing a dog in forever, @__@ and had to ask friends to make sure it looks OK, i used reference from books i own.might edit the BG more later on.

hmmmm, I'm sure I remember your work with a dog, you drew this animal without a skin and it was demonic or undead monster or something... but I can't find this picture XD

Beautiful uses of plum and gray colors! They really stick out and give her a sense of regality. But, as I keep looking at it, the pose strikes as somewhat awkward. Her right arm looks like it drops off and the way the stole is hanging, I can't tell if the arm is supposed to be bent, or straight and it's just not falling like a stole should. If you had her right shoulder twisted more to the direction she's facing and a different position in the arm (like placed on her hip? That would've given her some added sassy attitude!)would've made her "flow" better. Another critique on the skin, she looks almost gummy! The paleness is beautiful, but it looks to me like if you poke her she would jiggly like jell-o. The dog is very sleek and colored so well. Having one of front legs bent up and having his body lean more to the front would've made him look more natural since it seems like he's pointing and dogs lean/lift up one leg when pointing.
Over all, the colors are gorgeous, the woman is sexy as heck. I don't think I've mentioned how much I love her hair! You're exetremely talented and I love your work! ^__^

I actually found one of the Anima books and starter kits at a local gameing store. It was awesome holding your work in my hands xD

I've read a lot of the comments and I've gotta say... I'm very proud of you Wen-M! you take criticism so gracefully without seeming smug or arrogant or hurt, honestly and sadly that's hard to find in an artist on DA today, that you let people give their opinions in how you could improve is very big of you! it shows that you know although you're a great artist you're not perfect and that there is always room to improve and get better
and ultimately that's what makes a great artist as yourself so spectacular, and makes your art so amazing

dude she is gorgeous I love the her style ^_^. The dogs looks about right just a little lifeless I guess. kinda like its stuffed XD. but the scene looks really nice I love the kinda depressed feel i get from it. ^_^ very nice my friend.

As always, your art is beautiful. But I must ask, why is she wearing shoes too small for her? The left foot's big toe is having to draw up to stay in the shoe. :laugh:

the design and coloring are wonderful, however i agree, the fingers and toes look a little scrunched and thick.
also, when you make such wonderfully shaded clothing, with the way your figure is now, it makes skin look flat and dull. maybe consider adding some toning and muscles so she doesn't look so 2D?
