Xiao Xian: Little DeityMy translation skills suck but heres a rough translation of the poem
The tiger loves the high moutains for a hidden motive
Everyone suspects it like a fox
When the flowers turn yellow and the geese migrates
Its reputation shall reach that of kings
poem originates from a chinese fortune telling book
i did not write the caligraphy, someone else did, this person will not scream at me for not giving him credit. so nyahaha. XD caligraphy was done with real brush on paper. everything else is painter and photoshop with tablet.

I especially love how the digital work blends in BEAUTIFULLY with the traditional BG..
I was afraid that if I viewed he larger picture that it would stand out horribly, which digital on trad. tends to do regardless of how much work is put in to blending, but when I viewed it I was pleasantly surprised.

This is a anima female piece I actually like. What makes it so good is that instead the outfit being tacky and OTT like many of the anima girls, you've gone for a subtle elegance, which means the overall finish is not so much eye candy for being 'sexeh' but is such for being genuinely beautiful. The one thing I am not sold on is the frame. The simplicity of a basic white border is more fitting with the softness of the piece.
