Oh man....sorry for the lack of responses but this is very awesome. Let's see the elf haters bash this piece of art.
It still carries that ninja feel, due to the pants feet and the long scarf, but at the same time it borders on something more rogue-ish.
I love the detail in his staff (do you use gel pens for that like you did with your angels?) The whole picture is just oozing with awesome detail from the pants to the hand guards to the staff and the growing vines around the character.
Nice work on the foreground too, I love the texture and feel of the earth and tree roots.
If darkened his skin you would have a Drow, but that's besides the point. Awesome work.
