a character created byshe gave me a lot of freedom on how he looks, and we agreed to not give him a body, but just clothes that appears as if it is worn on an invisible one.
it was a lot of fun creating him, thikning along the lines to jealousy gave me the color green (obvious much?) and then the snakes that bite, and poisonous. dark colors because it appears more mysterious and assasin like.
all in all, was a fun image for me =] hope you like.

oh nice one hey how do you give this texture and shading to ur work with out making it line art i mean of course start out as a line art sketch but then make the colors look so attractive as this one if u get what i mean ( class research it be nice if i get some help )

try to make the lineart more transparent (less opacity and on multiply blending)

OH that's awesome what i usually do is i do the line art and then i paint it with a opacity in a 75% so i can blend the color do the shading from dark to light and erase the line art i find excessive.

At first glance looked as if someone/something was slashing the character in half..ha but good drawing!

Zahhak is a persian anti hero character, he had 2 horrible snake on his shoulder, and the only snake's food was human brain, if they didn't eat brains, Zahhak's shoulder became so painful. every day he killed 2 innocent human for his snakes.
and finaly "kaveh" killed him.
