I really do love the use of pattering on the wings. I find very few images (anime or otherwise) that think of doing the patterning... which is a pitty because some of the early Renaissance paintings and frescoes in the 1300's had the best wings - they were multi-colored w/ stripes or gold leafing... or influenced by peacock and other male bird colorations. I really love colorful wings.
Other than that, your sense of lighting is great... especially how the limbs farthest away drop into the background from the lack of color (or increase in shadowing).
