FFX I'll give it props as a graphical breakthru I mean when I saw the commercials I just drooled,it looked just jaw droping,X-2 got into the whole "oh I love u" and the guy that looks like a gurl gets misty eyed and say "......I know" gah romance kaka crap.I'm in no way trying to be sexist but that was a gurls game if I EVER saw one XD

Sorry to intrude but I'm a girl and I thought FFX-2 was too stupid as well. Yuna became such a air-head and they used stupid names like "awesome sphere". And the opening... do I even need to say anything? *damn Charlie's Angels wannabes* I mean I like romance but... that game was an insult.
Oh but I remember there was this random good clip thrown in there where Yuna is dreaming and Tidus and her are running under Bevelle away from guards and they're cornered and shot. WTF where the hell did that come from?! That was awesome! Then she wakes up and the crapiness ensues. I think I stopped playing in that gunning game where you had to get 500 points and get to the guy in 5 minutes to get the full percentage. Oh and f the percentage crap, it just causes more stress on top of the annoying sayings.
And I play online games ^~ but you know that means I already have a BF. Girls don't stay single long when they like video games, comics, and will watch cartoons and horror movies gladly with you
Instead of, "Stop playing those video games, dinner's ready." It's "When's my turn?" or "B button B button!" (which I guess is annoying too but at least I'm not telling you to stop ^_^)

I like all ff's I've played lol. I started with x to be honest. I loved it :\. X-2 had an interesting system, but yes lacked storyline and the such very much, but still it's an ff 
Oh and I also have XII but I haven't played much of that, nor have I got around to playing much of FFVII sadly, I've been hooked on Elders Scroll 4 - Oblivion lol

Lol my comment was 4 years old. I started with X as well and loved it. I buy my boyfriend video games all the time XD. In fact thats what I want him to buy me, they are such a better use of money than flowers that die on Valentines day XD. Right now I'm looking for the first Half-Life for him since he loves 2 so much and says he can't find the first one.

That's funny... My friend played FFX-2 and she loved it, she was raving and crazing about it. Then again, she played the original, so that's probably why it made such a huge difference. Remember, SquareEnix actually got a new marketing director (or was it something else?) and they decided to take things for a new turn/spin. I personally thought that the "new" concept was kind of cool, a little different from your original FF game, so it was quite refreshing. I guess the other thing is that people are way too hung up on the "traditional" FF game, or FFX specifically, therefore, when they throw in something a little different, people would either love them or hate them. *shrug*
The girls' costumes are kind of cute, IMO, but some of them could definitely have a little better taste... >>;;
Honestly, if they want to get the Female Gamers' attention, port over the "real" Female Games, such as Angelique, Harukanaru, etc.. I feel that the Japanese Female Market definitely gets a lot more attention than we do over in the States. *shake head* The guys usually look at me funny 'cause I'm the only girl they know play any video game. You know, I'm not some sort of freak show just because I play video games, I carry portable video game consoles, AND I play more games than they do. *shake head*

I had a GBA (before I got an SP) with me at all time during classes. O_o Golden Sun kept me alive in one of the worst and most tedious classes ever. Then the guys will turn over and go, "OMG! What's that? What are you playing?" Yeah, like you've never seen someone played a video game before. T_T Go back to your Maxim.

Oh yeah, me and the Golden Sun ^_^. I'd get stuck and I knew this guy in class who had already beaten the game and I'd always be asking him what I needed to do to be able to move on. I remember he told me that there was this really hard boss fight somewhere and I was always afraid of it, but then I won the game... and I asked where the really hard boss fight was and he said it was on the ship and I said, "That fight?! There were harder ones in the game than that one." And he always told me how my characters were so weak compared to his

Hey I never got to play it but u could never pay me to,oh and I feel I owe all females this much;I ,a gaming male of 19 years of age,do hereby apologise for games such as Outlaw Volleyball,DoA Extreme Beach Vollyball,And most of all that new all female wrestling game and just as much The Guy Game.Even tho they serve a perverse desire that lies in all males they are distasteful and TOTALLY a waste of a good disk!

Trust me, "Yunie" and "Disasterrific" was never in the Japanese game. And a whole lot of other stuff.
I think FFX-2 was just an experiment gone wrong. The music was horrible. I only liked like, one or two songs. Or three. That's it. But yes, the point is that the Japanese version was much more enjoyable to me.
And I agree. With the girl gamer thing.
Girls who play games also get really harrassed-- I had an experience where a guy bilittled me, saying I couldn't play Soul Calibur, then I promptly kicked his ass, then he was very nice, then asked me out. NO.

yeah u go girl! its actually very insulting to a guy's ego when a girl beats him at a game. but, hey, girls can play too! i really didnt lyk ffx-2 that much...but i played it out of lack of anything better to do. however, ffx was my fav *i never played 7*. i spent so much time on that thing that i had every1 up so high. i just got such a kick out of watching yuna run up to a tonberry and whack it w/ her stick and it fell over. that was so funny! ffx-2 was so frustrating! i had to play through at least 4 times 2 get the 100% and i tell u 1 thing...the perfect ending was so lame. actually...i never even got the mascot dressphere...cause i gave up and shifted my attention towards the Xenosaga trilogy *which i have all of, and let me say that KOS-MOS rocks* but anyway, girls can play video games 2! i have saved myself from certain death quite a few times and im proud of it. savvy?

I agree with yall....FFX2 was pathetic, the graphics in the game itself did not improve...not to mention the fact that the entire world was the same (except Luka, thank goodness)...yeeeeh that game sucked so bad....
As for FF7, unfortunately I've never played FF7 *dodges a brick* ..but saw the movie and it was cool *dodges another brick* ...for me FFX takes 1st place...
hope they'll go with that crazy idea and re-make FF7 for PSP X]
as for onliners, if FFXI didn't suck ass - I'd be interested, otherwise its WoW

i hope that ff never goes to x box. if it goes over tehre sony will lose so many sale it will be rediculous. I am a true playstatoin fan, and really dotn like the x box. uc an argue that it looks better but it has three good games (fable, ninja gaiden, and the halo series). As to waht uw ere saying. Il iked ffx2...only because it brough an up beat style to ffs...all of them were really sad at some point...but x2 was up beat and was a hopeful game...i think thats somethign that the series need...and yeah im sorry but the costume chaing was really cool. the battles were more intresting because of the chaining as well and the fact that u could switch costumes and thigns like that was cool. And yeah I am a guy saying this.
the scene where they are checking each others chests out in the hot spring was a bit much tho...iw ill admit.
I think 9 was the best. I loved the characters the most...whole in all the ffs the characters a developed...its usually ust one or two of the characters...in 9all of the characters were developed. Plus the cities were amazing and so was the music. 7 was great but I really liked the characters in 9. Tactics is actuall ym favorite thing with ff on itt...but its not a mian stream rpg...but anway...thats enough of my tanget...continue on with what yall were saying.

Hey I won't argue with u about the only 3 good titles on the box,I have 2 1/2 outta the 3,oh and Halo 2.......OVER HYPED!!!PS2 puts out in my opinion better looking games neway,and I mean damn there every game,but it all comes down to a matter of preference,I like playing online AND not having to shell out $100 just for a HARD-DRIVE that already shoulda been there,but thats just me.
Now as far as FF9 goes I never got to play it but it looked pretty cool from the few screen shots I saw of it.and as for X-2 up-beat is one thing and I saw the changing sequences and the looked nice,the game looked nice all the way around,but the story line of this gurl power (no offence) and this lovey dovey crap just didn't sit well with me,I think it cuz of my experiences with "romance".......*shudders* ugh but to each their own
