i had wanted to draw this for years, but yeah, only recently obtained a good reference of this form of his, so i finally was able to draw it.spent 2 hours on the pencil drawing, which was the bulk of the work. digital colors and pasting took about 30 mins.

I really love this .. although the one thing that strikes me is it looks for the most part a realism piece with the detail but the face is pallid in comparison to the rest, it has no detail and lacks recognition. in the arms and torso you can see the muscle definition and they have form, the face is flat.
I still think this is really good and is definately for my faves ^^

The fabulous thing about this image is how closely you recollect Yoshitaka Amano's style. Considering he wasn't responsible in the main for the character design in VII, the reference is still an excellent touch. Always wondered what his take on the subject matter might have been; this seems impeccably close.

it's really detailed. why is it seven wings? I read a fanfic with Sephiroth having 7 wings. I didn't imagine sephiroth would have wings like that though. Still it is really good. The ring? is cool.
