Description One of the 8 drawings i did from a depressed period of my life. Skulls were pretty much the only thing that cheered me up back then.

ahh isn't emotion the engine in all our artmobiles? Well anywho lovely simple. The line work seems so raw and natural, perfect for conveying a sense of sadness and angst (which i'm assuming was the emotion felt behind this?). I like how the teeth bite the leg, because it doesn't seem like the skull it actually biting her in a painful way, and letting his own blood flow over her very cool. I like the body structure, seems so... curvy. And the subtle touch of an ALMOST unoticable earring gives the girl, to me, a bit of personality. The colors are so layered they seem to give wonderful depth, not just another cartoony piece. and the detail on the skull really makes him even more freaky. Though i usually bug about backgrounds, I think it works with the simplicity. Brings more focus to the subject anyway Awsome as usual. (though the art is funny. I'd love to know the whole story behind this to better understand)

I think it's not only good therapy to produce art while you're in a different emotional state, but you can produce some of the best work during that time. I don't find this morbid at all; I've done some pretty whacked-out pieces myself Nice piece~

Yay for disturbing pics The one thing that cheers me up is BLOOD *yum* I like it, it's very original and the skin looks so real! She's a bit thin, tho ... not her thighs, but her belly and arms.
