Description

After a fight that had pushed them both from Monster Island to the bay of Japan, Godzilla has finally put a shocked and outmatched King Kong to his knees. Even so, Kong growls in defiance at Godzilla, who merely brushes ash and debris off of himself. Truly, things have changed greatly since the last time they had fought. Kong had been letting himself go and Godzilla is not the dumb, arrogant lizard that the mighty king saw, years ago. The King of the Monsters roars at Kong, demanding an explanation for this unprovoked bout.

Furiously, Kong barks back, stating that his kingdom was attacked and his island burned by the fires of a reptilian demon. Even on his knees, he accuses Godzilla of being this demon and challenger of his throne. This story confuses Godzilla, who never recalled having done so. There was time when he and Rodan were forced into rampaging by a bunch of aliens, but his mind grew stronger to prevent those games. By his knowledge, the only monster that could ever attack like Godzilla...is Godzilla.

But if HE didn't attack Faro Island...then who did?
