Description

The Japanese dragon is a brave and majestic beast. Midoryu is a cowardly and dopey beast, and a disappointment to the rest of dragon-kind. It's not his fault, he was just born that way. His usefulness to the Fushigi Wondergang is debatable due to him bolting when faced with the prospect of solving a mystery involving other creatures, especially the more fearsome ones. Sometimes he freezes up and has to be swayed with the promise of rice crackers, which is a human food he loves.

Midoryu, being able to fly, mostly serves as transportation for the gang. His other talent is being able to change his size and length, which also proves useful. Being a dragon, he can also breathe fire, which he only likes doing as a last resort. He's not really much of a fighter, preferring peace. Negative traits aside, he is a loyal and kind friend, who can be depended on when he's not being a whimpering coward.
