Personality: Shadow Spring is a confident, cocky yet caring person. He occasionally can come off as a dick or a show off at times but most of the time he is usually joking around and means well. He is very understanding and isn't quick to think ill of people, he is always willing to give people a second chance. Though he is pretty good at figuring out when something is wrong or if a person is hiding their true feelings but of course he isn't always right. He has quite the overprotective nature when it comes to close friends and lovers and he has a constant fear of losing them. He is quite scared of his own abilities and powers as he was given them without any proper time to practice, so he tends not to use his more powerful abilities. However, he is very morally questionable, being both a demon and an angel he has a constant moral battle on what is right and what is wrong and can make some very questionable decisions because of it. He's quite the calm type and doesn't get angered easily but when he does get angry he can go very overboard and even scary at times. He's also very much the flirty type to those he crushes on and isn't afraid to get a little frisky. Despite mostly being confident and strong personality wise, he has a weakness to cute things. He can't help but get all flustered and bubbly when he finds something adorable.

Backstory: Shadow Spring was a test creation from God. God wondered what would happen if he created a guardian angel with his exact powers. Would they use the powers for protection or would the be bad? During his creation however, something went.. wrong. It seems that it didn't exactly do much though, other than giving Shadow Spring giant black wings. He was named Azazel. Having black wings made his life in heaven a struggle, even though he was the sweetest person ever and was God's right hand man while he was training to be a guardian. Wings mean a lot to angels, the brighter the colours the more trustworthy you are, gold wings are the highest tier but no angel has them at the moment. Black wings are the bottom of the bottom, you are not considered trustworthy and are seen as a threat. This affected Shadow Spring greatly as he was mostly alone. So he decided to practice his abilities of creation to distract himself.
One day, a young child fox came into heaven. She was scared and frantically looking around. She was trying to find her parents. No one aided the child but Shadow Spring saw her and decided to take her under his wing. Her name was Ellie and she was only 6, she had died in a car crash and her parents survived. Shadow Spring decided to adopt her and look after her. They were the best of friends and no one could separate them, or so it seemed. One day, Shadow Spring was practicing his creations as per usual but he kept creating disturbing animals that couldn't survive or were suffering. Shadow Spring had to keep erasing them so they didn't have to suffer for long. God noticed him doing this and was disgusted and furious. He screamed at Shadow Spring that he knew something was wrong with him and did what all angels fear. God broke Shadow Spring's halo, snapped off his wings and kicked him into hell. Ellie was watching all of this from afar and started to cry. She was to get revenge on what God did to her dad. God was then to spread lies about Shadow Spring, saying that he was evil.
Shadow Spring landed in hell scared and upset. He started crying and just sat there. He didn't care for the demons around him, coming closer and closer ready to pounce on a new fresh angel. Suddenly a woosh of hot air came around and a loud booming voice told the demons to cease. It was Lucifer. Shadow Spring was terrified and didn't know what to do. Lucifer calmed him down and told Shadow Spring he wasn't going to hurt him. He asked why Shadow Spring was sent down and he explained the whole story. Lucifer became furious with God, as he believed it was a stupid reason to send an angel down. He offered Shadow Spring two options, either become a demon down here and live a life of good and happiness or make him part demon to be able to access Hell and Earth at will. Shadow Spring took the second option as he wants to still be a guardian to the one he was meant to protect. His wish was granted and Shadow Spring became what he is now. He was turned a darker shade of green and now had red eyes, sadly he still didn't have his wings and missed them so much. He went to Earth to search for the child he was made to protect.
This child was Spring. Spring was born to an abusive mother and a good father. He was abused since he was a baby and his dad tries so hard to patch him up and take care of him. Shadow Spring arrived there, disguised as Spring's shadow with his new found demon powers. He would make sure Spring was happy and was his little friend, Spring's dad knew of Shadow Spring and appreciated his help. Shadow Spring was also very scared of Spring's mother and was too fearful to truly protect Spring. Spring was the one who gave Shadow Spring his nickname and he decided to keep it so he could distance himself away from his past life as an angel. However, one day they were separated, Spring was taken by his mum in the middle of the night while everyone was asleep and Shadow Spring didn't notice. The next morning Spring's dad was being yelled at by his wife as he was panicking, his son was gone. He told Shadow Spring to go try and find him, and to please look after him. Shadow Spring promised he would try and set off into the city. Shadow Spring decided to disguise himself as a child and "grow up". He lived on the streets for a long time in an ally way, trying to look for Spring.
Shadow Spring decided to try and get into school, to start having a new life away from his past. He went to a small good primary school and had a fun time. Soon he went to high school and that's when things started getting crazy again. He was one of the most popular kids in school, even though he wasn't sure why. He was also quite a rebel kid and didn't care much for rules anymore. This ended up in him getting into a fight with the headmaster's son, who had a pair of scissors. This is where Shadow Spring got the chunk of his ear missing and because he was the one who started the fight, he was sent to a different school. The school he was sent to, was the one Spring is attending. Shadow Spring was again, one of the more popular kids of the school. He was also quite the charmer to some of the girls. Shadow Spring found Fredrick, Mike, Goldie and Minty and quickly became good friends with the gang. One day, while some girls were talking to Shadow Spring, he saw Spring walking. Shadow Spring immediately started running to him, ignoring what the girls were saying about Spring. He didn't care for silly rumours. They were so happy to see each other and went into a giant hugging crying mess but they didn't care. They had found each other and that's all that mattered.

He gets his wings back when he and Ellie reunite. She was also sent to hell by God but Shadow Spring managed to intercept the process and save her. Since Ellie is still an angel (although fallen) she can give Shadow Spring's his wings back. He was extremely happy about this and started hugging his wings like they were his children.
