So I've been obsessed with the idea for KHP for weeks now, ever since I posted the first pic(legit, this took weeks to do. I'm good at one-shots, as in drawing someone once...but when I have to repeatedly draw them at once...you get what you see before you). Tons of ideas have been churning about in the chaotic, eccentric, and somewhat naughty maelstrom of a mind I have(many thanks to Jagabor for aiding in calming the storm, pardon the corny pun XD). Anywho, here's the drive forms. To teh story! After the Enchantress leaves Lunik and friends with their new clothes, they are left to themselves. They talk a bit, sometimes about planning their travels, sometimes revealing bits about themselves. Over dinner, which Lunik prepares using the castles kitchen and a few cookbooks, They each tell their backstory to each other, Max telling of how he ran away from his responsibilities, Dean telling of how he lived off of thievery, and Lunik immediately feels left out. ("I'm a rebel." "I'm a thief." "I'm a...prince. DaFOOK!? LAWL) He tells them of how this was once his family's castle, his mother being Belle and his father King Adam. Max is immediately surprised. "Your dad was Beast!?" Lunik doesn't know what he means by the name, but apparently Dean and Max know. They bring Lunik to the Library, where Max searches out a book entitled "Fables of Disney" (4th wall breakage 4 teh WIN!) He flips past pages titled "Little Maid of the Sea" and "The Glass Slipper at Midnight", but when he comes to the last page, the pages are ripped out. He explains to Lunik that his father was cursed when he was a boy that turned into a horrible monster, a curse only broken if he could win someone's love by his 21st year. Lunik's mother, Belle, broke that curse, turning him back to normal. Lunik is a bit skeptical at first, but then he remembers about his parent's prized possession--a beautiful rose that his father kept in the West Wing. Lunik never saw it, but he heard his parents speak of it. He takes Max and Dean to the West Wing, hesitant at first since his father told him never to enter there, and they see the rose, suspended and glowing in its glass case. Drawn to its beauty, Lunik touches the glass and immediately his mind enters a wrenching flashback. Lunik saw everything play out...the form of a hideous beast, mixed of a bear and wolf...a young beauty, who fell in love with the beast...the beast's transformation at the beauty's words of love...the birth of their baby son...
It all happened in one coherent vision that lasted a moment. Lunik fell to his knees, breathing heavily. Max and Dean rush to help him up. Whe he's finally up, Lunik shakes his head and holds it. He tells them of his vision, and that what they say is true. Something lingers in the back of his head that the curse isn't fully over...but that thought is overcome by the thought of what just happened. Lunik remembers one of the books in the library, and knows what happened. Lunik suspects he has Psychometry, the ability to touch something and immediately know information about it, and he finally makes sense of his encounter in Vertigo Village with the mysterious individual. Lunik explains his vision, saying Beast and Belle married, had him, and ruled the Castle and surrounding countryside in peace. When the Psychosis attacked that fateful night, it was the Rose's power that kept the Castle up, and its still the only thing keeping it from crumbling to the ground. Dean suggests that maybe there's a way to "heal" the Castle on another world. With this, they blast off, heading for their first world. Mid-space, Max receives an SOS transmission from a nearby world. Lunik decides to head to the world in distress, named "Wonderland".
They all touch down in a grass maze, where roses dripping with red paint are abundant and there are little bread and butterflies fluttering about. I thought this would be a funny scene: Lunik saw the bread and butterflies, and suddenly he remembered how he loved bread and butter as a child. Unthinking, he lurched forward, snatching one in his mouth and beginning to chew. Dean looked to Lunik, one eyebrow raised. "Could you control the beast within for like two seconds?" "Sorry." Lunik said with a mouth full, a bit embarassed. LAWL. Anywho, Lunik finishes his meal and they all investigate, Lunik heading for one of the roses. He touches it and learns of a young girl getting trapped within this dazed world and her adventures while here. His visions now aren't as jarring, and he simply steps back with a breath. He tells Max and Dean, but suddenly Playing cards with red paint come from nowhere, painting some white roses red. They ask what the guards are doing, and they tell them they’re Painting the Roses Red. One of the playing cards then gets suspicious, questioning if Lunik knows of "The Gambler". Lunik doesn't know who he's talking about, but the Guard isn't convinced, and moves for them. They take fighting stances, Max's fists up, Dean with yoyos in hand, and Lunik grasping the Rumbling Rose.
The guards see the keyblade and gasp, stepping back. “Y-you’re a keybearer?” Lunik glances at the keyblade in his hand and nods tentatively, and one of the guards panics. “You must be brought to the queen!” They escort the three to the Queen of hearts, who does some nonsense judge thing to interrogate them. Before that, though, they interrupt her polo game, so there's a little mini-game where Lunik forces Max into a croquet ball and he uses his keyblade as his hammer. So, to the court. Lunik mentions that they’re only there because of the distress signal they intercepted. The Queen immediately denies sending any such message. When Lunik asks who sent it, they all hear a voice from the shadows, “We did.” Lunik sees a crescent moon in the shadow turn into a rocking smile, and the Chesire Cat comes into view, resting on a young woman’s shoulders. She has blonde hair, and her clothes look KH-y, with card suit designs all over them, specifically diamonds.
“Alice!” Lunik says, surprised. He recognizes the girl from his vision, only now she’s much older. The queen gasps at Alice’s arrival, then asks if she sent the message. Alice nods. “So you’re a keybearer, huh? I…thought you’d be less hairy.” Both Max and Dean both look to Lunik’s sideburns and mutton chops, to which he crosses his arms and makes a face. Alice and the Chesire Cat take Lunik and friends away from the Queen, and she tells of how she grew in Wonderland, becoming the queen of Diamonds. She acts as a vigilante queen, defending wonderland from the nobodies and heatless that may appear there. As such, her reputation has grown, which explains the Queen’s reactions. She then tells that a new threat arose, one she needed help dealing with. Lunik tells her what he knows of the Psychosis, whom he thinks is this new force. Their leader, the King of Clubs, is terrorizing Wonderland at his discretion. Alice needed them to help defeat him. They all agree, and soon travel to the King of Clubs palace.
They confront him, and they soon meet him...and his thick british accent. He has short cropped blond hair and a blonde goatee, with both ears pierced....sound familiar? Lunik says it can't be, because he's read up on the history of nobodies and their Organization 13, and how they were ALL destroyed. The King of Clubs looks exactly like Luxord. The King of Clubs agrees that he is Luxord, the King of Clubs, and that the Organization has returned to reak havok upon the worlds once more. (Wondering about this, either to have these new "orgy" be returning, or have the people say they weren't in the organization, just have their powers and name. In that case, Luxord would've said he was the King of Clubs but that he was in no organization. I'm thinking the latter). Anywho, He fights the same and Lunik and pals engage him, except for Alice, who gets blocked outside of the barricade of cards Luxord forms.
Deep inot the fight, when Luxord's nearing his end, his face gets a little different--it starts to crack. All around his eyes, running down his cheeks in weird craggly streaks is dry skin, so dry that it's like desert rock almost. Luxord continues fighting, but he's finally defeating, where he reluctantly fades into a pile of dust and sand on the floor. Alice is able to get to Lunik, and see the pile of sand, realizing that it was once Luxord. She thanks Lunik and Friends and wishes them luck, asking if they would return sometime soon. The Chesire Cat arrives and the two deisappear. While observing the pile of dust, A flash appears behind them all, and the Enchantress appears, walking over to the pile of dust, kneeling down, and examining it. Lunik comes over and respectfully says that they need answers as to why all this is happening and why the organization has supposedly risen from the dead. The Enchantress rises and says that it is not the organization. She says another kind has arisen. She looks to Lunik and says it is the Psychosis. She begins by describing them.
She says that they are like Heartless and Nobodies in that they complete the triangle. Heartless are the corrupted Hearts of people, Nobodies are the Bodies left behind. In KH, they said the triangle was Heart, Body, and Soul. Well, the soul, at least in my KH(y'know, the whole 'further research into the subject' excuse), is simply the entity that gives something life. When someone comes back after turning into a heartless is because their soul wants to come back. The soul desires enough to return, and so it has the power to recreate its heart, body, and the third piece of the triangle, the Mind. The Psychosis are the corrupted Minds of others. They are the Negative thoughts, feelings, and memories of individuals. Those less powerful turn into normal or specialized Psychosis such as the normal Psychosis(all Psychosis have abbreviated names, normal Psychosis are called PsychoMover, as they have the power of telekinesis[all Psychosis are based off of psychic powers]), or the Blade Psychosis (PsychoEdge), but the most powerful turn into the Hellion (Society? Order? Can't decide) There are seven Hellions who control the other Psychosis, each controlling one of the 7 Great Tempations of the Mind(Seven Deadly Sins). They take forgotten and negative memories and turn them into living, breathing Replicas to wreak havok, known as Replica Psychosis (PsychoDeux? possible name help there.), which is what the Luxord they fought was. The Psychosis are basically the forgotten memories, evil thoughts, and negative emotions of everyone, all culminated into a physical being. Their only motive is to wreak havok and reap the negative thoughts and feelings, only adding to their numbers. They have recently devlopd a new plan of action to doble their power, which is why there ae more Psychosis being sent to the worlds: They seek to unlock Kingdom Hearts and use its powers to instill fear in others, reaping the benefits.
Lunik asks how to stop them, and the Enchantress then explains of 7 individuals whose coming was prophecized. When the Hellions grew to their strongest(the moment they realized their plan involving Kingdom Hearts), the 7 Guardians of Virtue(STILL working title) would be awakened in the next generation of heroes. Their minds would be totally pure, and as such the Psychosis wouldn't be able to steal any power from them, remaining untouched. The Enchantress chose Lunik to be the one to find them because she saw something in him she didn't in his father and she hoped that something would be the key to finding the Guardians of Virtue. Basically, The Guardians are the children of various Disney Characters, which shall be revealed along the way. As a way to aid in their quest, the Enchantress waves her wand to the sand pile that once was the PsychoDeux Luxord and from the pile rose four playing cards: one of each of the four suits. They rise and spin around Lunik before sinking into his clothes. She says the new power will allow Lunik to combine with Max and Dean to increase their power. The Enchantress vanishes, and Lunik and Friends decide to head to the next world, the nearest of which being one called "Halloweentown."
Hokay, so, now that that's done, the explanation. The drive forms are a bit different, in that each is named differently, has a set weapon, and operate differently. Also, in each drive form, Lunik's inner beast breaks loose in the surge of power. The idea is that the cursed skipped over to Lunik's generation, staying within Beast's heart and mind, and as such, being passed on to Lunik. This also includes a little gameplay mechanic I like to call the "Savage Gauge".It's a bar beside his health bar and icon, with three sections. It rises with each physical attack you do(magic attacks don't contribute to it). The premise is that the more Lunik fights, the more savage he becomes, giving in to the beast within. The Savage guage has to do with Lunik's Anti-Form, which isn't available yet, since he hasn't gone heartless...yet...but if the guage is within the first section, there's a 25% chance of Anti-Form change. Second section, 50%. Third, 75%. While in drive form, however, the guage doesn't rise, but since you let the beast out, it does go back to zero. So, if you really want to go another form, but you're in lik the third level, you have to stand back and do magic to let it drop(magic uses the civilzed part of Lunik's psyche, actually reducing the Savage Guage. It's this little nerdy thing I came up with XD
The first form is Deuce Form, where he bonds with Max. I decided, since I'm using card suits as symbols, I'd use card lingo as well. In this form, Lunik changes to the color green instead of blue(including his eyes, like all forms) and Clubs appear all over his clothes(for each drive form, there's also the symbol on the back of his vest). His keyblade automatically changes itself to the Key of Clubs, a subset of the Kingdom Key. It's shaped alot like a board in the idea that you actually ride in like a skateboard(Max is a skateboarder). So, like Wisdom's little glid-y bit, you ride around on the keyblade like a skateboard. You can either do a quick attack, by spinning with your board, or you can get off the board and swing it like a hugamongous Cloud-esque sword before getting back on to move. When he transforms, Lunik yells, "Wild!" (Deuces are wild)
The second drive form is when he combines with Dean, Jack Form. In this form, Lunik changes yellow and Diamonds appear on his clothes. His keyblade changes to the Key of Diamonds, which is two keyblades attached to chains(God of War, if you will XP). I thought it was like Dean's Yo-Yo's, a bit. Anywho, he fights a lot like Kratos in this form, as the keyblades move alot like the Blades of Chaos. When Lunik transforms, he yells, "Two Pair!"
The third form is King form, where he combines with both. Lunik goes red with hearts on him. His keyblade is the Key of Hearts, a basic Keystaff. It can extend and shorten itself in combat. When Lunik transforms, he yells, "Full House!"
The Final form is called Ace Form, and can only be activated by the Ultima keyblade. The keyblade's effect is that when it's equipped, Final Form becomes and option in the drive menu. You only fight with one Ultima Keyblade, but if you go final form, It duplicates itself so you have two. They automatically revolve around you in an orb, spinning all the while(only when moving or being attacked, when standing still, they simply circle you.) They auto attack anybody who comes near, leaving you free to walk around or cast magic. It's silver with Ace symbols on it. When Lunik transforms, he yells, "Royal Flush!"
The Anti-forms story will be revealed later on, but basically it's called Joker Form and it's color is purple, it's symbol a skull. In this, Lunik is the most beastial and the closest he will ever come to becoming a heartless again, so he doesn't use keyblades but his claws and tail, which is considerably longer and evil here. You can deice whether the things underneath his eyes are fangs or eye designs, but I meant for them to be fangs lol. When he transforms, he yells in a confused manner, "Fold!?"
Hope ya like! (n_~)b
