While most people in the interstellar society called the Angel Fleet own their own small craft there are still busses running people about. These frequent high traffic routes between connected ships or orbital stations and a moon's surface. Ticketing is normally automatic due to the electronics in clothing and spacesuits. Not that there is much difference between normal business and leisure clothing and spacesuits.

School busses are common but are generally only used field trips and sporting exchanges not a daily commute to school. Many home school anyway.

The medical unit is built on the same hull. This is a functional ambulance and surgery. It can handle both human and android emergency cases. Death, injury and disease is rare but do exist. Many an android's last memories of being human are a ride in this type of ship after doing something stupid or heroic. The on board medical lab and nanofabricators can make a wide range of temporary medical prosthetics to keep the patient alive. Because illness is so rare most operators spend most of their time doing running repairs on androids or robots and practicing on specialised fake patient androids and robots.

The internal stretcher airlock is a variable geometry system. If needed it can close off the front section from the rear section, linking to the main airlock, to protect the pilot area.

It is extremely rare for either ship to do long multi-day flights but they do have fuel for that if needed.
