Description
I am in a love and hate situation with portraitsI like drawing people and figure drawings but in the case of portraits, being off even on some seemingly arbitrary detail turns it into a complete different person.

So true. It's interesting to determine what makes a face characteristic and what details you need to recognize them instantly.
I think the left side looks more like her, but I can't really pin it down.

At first sight she really looked like Emma but I know what you mean about a detail. I couldn't tell you what exactly is "not Emma", though. Anyway I think it's a pretty nice piece ^^
