Place: Myanmar - Mergui Archipelago - Bo Ywe Island

After snorkelling and dinner, our boat spends overnight at Bo Ywe Island.

The same as previous nights, greeting from a cool breeze, a warm welcome from the colourfully painted sky.

The last twilight fades into the darkness when the lights in the village on Pila Island flicker.

And when the boat engine has been turned off into silence, I hear the different sounds clearly tonight. one is periodic in rhythm, the waves; another is softly continuous, the waterfall cascading down the sandy beach.

I lie down listening to the Duets, the beautiful lullaby, then have a good night sleep.

Both of them are with me all night, and gently wake me up to welcome a new day.
