Here's one of my characters I have very rarely touched on anywhere. He [referred to as, doesn't really have a gender] was originally a hacking program meant to get into enemy computers and completely annihilate everything.

He can get through almost any sort of virus protection, but if the computer has no virus protection, he'll be stumped trying to hack into what's not there, give up and leave. Like a severe case of over-thinking things.

However, somebody isolated him in an internet-locked computer and corrupted him so badly he could not wreck computers and files any more. Now he's just a nuisance, and the worst he could probably do is post your porn on your facebook or [in a setting where all of my characters are in one household] jump out of the computer and slash you with his key-arm.
