I finished something for once.
Markers and a touch of colored pencil were used.

Ooooooh, something to hate and throw evil critiques at. 
I think you did a good job on this, Your shapes and lines give particular areas a sense of weight and substance, like the extended claws that caught my eye the most. I can definitely see traditional comic book influence that is just ever-so-slightly twisted into a style you can call your own. I like the little nuances of detail, like the muscular, almost thick vein-like curves and shapes where the leg meets the torso, though somehow her face seemed to recieve the least amount. Her lack of neck takes away from a little from the overall presence of her pose, but I understand how it can be a difficult thing to draw the human form successfully and present it in the apex of a particular pose. It's nothing that a little practice and attention to in the next rendition won't heal. Splendid, keep it up for sure.

Just a thought....it may have already been said being this drawing has been up before in it's many stages BUT in her right hand...does she not have fingers for a reason??? because in the left hand the claws are coming from the knuckles but in the right it looks like the claws are her fingers?? I dunno maybe I am just missing something, or maybe I just want you to feel pain....well, do ya feel it yet? huh....huh....heh. Love ya babe!!!

As in for the BG...lemmy think... ~ n1nj4zero idea go for the slough of bodies. That will fit in just fine. As for the coloring, WHOOHOOO great job on them, also the claws are very well done. And its a good idea too. It's like she evolved and she can take not only the powers but the material of the power as well.
