When I was a kid whenever I would get too scared of a monster I would picture a superhero to beat'em up. Hulk fits the bill

actually hulk also has a high potential of immortality... remember? the more he gets enraged the more powerful and resistant he gets... but with jasons stiff moves it wouldnt be much of a show... poor guy... hes gonna get his ass swooped all over town and he doesnt even know it...btw gaff... hulk has dark green blood not red...

Exactly. The Hulk has the advantage of longevity on top of everything else, I've seen evidence of his ability to live forever. And while Jason's strength is considerably superhuman, the Hulk just keeps getting stronger the more you antagonize him. There's no comparison.
Hulk seems like the kind of character who bleeds a different color every time a new colorist comes into play.

That's going into deep psychodrama territory. Freddy would probably be outnumbered by Bruce's miriad personalities, like the Hulk, Joe Fixit [the Grey Hulk], and professor Hulk. Old Freddy won't be able to beat those odds.

In the dream world, Freddy is invulnerable to harm. He can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, however he wants. Now, I'm not saying the Hulk(s?) will be easily killed, oh no, but Freddy is basically God(or Satan) in the Dream World.

Lobo is also good. In fact, he might be even better to use on Jason than the Hulk, now that I think of it. Not only can he deal out the same kind of pain, but he will rub it in Jason's nose, and he's unkillable in much the same way. On top of that, he knows many more creative ways to kill peoples ^_^

Panel 1: The Hulk sits in the middle of the forest.
Panel 2: The Hulk closes his eyes, dipping his head in sleep.
Panel 3:The Hulk opens his eys.
Panel 4: Hulk turns around to see Jason standing behind him. There's a knife in Hulk's back, the anoying spot you can never scratch.
Panel 5: The Hulk walks down a highway to lonely piano music. Behind him the remains of Jason's body lay at the bottom of a very deep crater where once there was a forest.
One page , and bettter than Secret Invasion!

I happen to like Bendis' writing, so I don't know if it's better than Secret Invasion, but it would certainly make a best selling comic book unto itself, even if [or maybe because] it's only one page long.

SpawnGuy In reply to What-the-Gaff [2008-04-20 23:13:43 +0000 UTC]
The better part was innocent enough joking. Bendis' style sometimes mean you're not entierly sure there was a point to it or make you sit back and wonder why other comics aren't like it. Secret Invasion supposedly ties every plot line in the last few years together so it should be interesting.
Regardless, that script is mine to barter a fortune from Marvel and New Line with, so you keep your hands off it!

I'd think of stronger curse words than crap if i were in his shoes, LOL XD! Then again, Hulk can smash Jason, but Jason can't die (Hulk may be virtually invulnerable, but not immortal...not that helps much given what Jason has to work with). Only way Jason could beat Hulk is if he caught him as Banner or did that gross body possesson thing he did from Jason Goes To Hell (or maybe if he took on his Jason X nanotech form...not the best of the Jason flicks but no denying that Jason never looked scarier all meched out like that, lol). Great work as always Gaff! (:

What-the-Gaff In reply to KaijuDuke [2008-04-18 03:33:36 +0000 UTC]
A cyber Jason is still no match for the Hulk. It just wouldn't be enough. Possession sounds like a viable option, but then he'd have to compete with Banner's splintered psyche, and I don't think the down syndrome slasher is 'mindful' enough for that.
The bottom line is that even if Jason can't die, the Hulk can outlast him in a way no one else ever has. I mean, Jason's usual prey consists of stupid, horny teenagers, inept sheriffs, and occassionally Freddy Krueger. Meanwhile, the Hulk has fought just about everybody in the Marvel Universe and made them eat asphalt. Jason can't even touch that.

Funny. I would have thought Jason's machete would have snapped on Hulk's gamma-hardened flesh. Either way, Jason is Fuct.

What-the-Gaff In reply to Diego-the-Incubus [2008-04-17 23:05:17 +0000 UTC]
Either way, the machete is ineffective, and having it sticking halfway out of his arm seemed like the best way to illustrate it. That way it fits in the frame, showing that Jason tried to kill the Hulk, and his efforts were laughable.
