Actually, the sperm that fertilizes an egg isn't the first one to reach it. After thousands of sperm weaken the outer walls of the eggs structure, one of the sperm finally fertilizes it. So in reality, you were born a slow, lazy, good for nothing that let everyone else do the work for you.
