way overdue commission for ~EllundielOh my G... This... this jammy took between 50 and 60 hours altogether. Had to draw, redraw, and it's hugely to blame for the evolution of my style.
I started it and finished with some rinky-dink lines with color. Then I decided to overhaul. Like SRS overhaul. Just went and re-painted everything. And this eventually evolved into what style I posses today.
And the character's name is Zeth... And, uh... He's pretty badass lol

Amazing colouring. The gun feels a bit flat for me, but other than that this is just an exciting image to look at. Makes me want to go play Starfox on the Gamecube.

I think the hardest part about anthro is getting the skeletal structure to look believable, followed by details like fur. It's all about taking your time and research

And I've seen my fair share of bad anthro, and in my opinion, it takes more skill to draw good anthro than it does the human body.. although I do both because obviously, anthro is animal characteristics placed on a human-like biped.. and is inspired by us people anyways..
