During the Gaian Era, the Silverstream Guard were the original guards of the Royal Family of Equestria, deeply loyal to Queen Gaia, after the queen's death, Princess Celestia, knowing that they would not be loyal to her, thanks to her ideals differing from that of her mother, ordered the Guard be purged, indeed, many were killed by Celestial supporters.Even more however, escaped Equestria with Oberlander Cromwell, where they went on to found the United Kingdom of Welara. The Silverstream Guard lives on today as the personal guards of the monarchs of Welara.
