Description
So I've been kicking around this idea for a while of doing a set of two convention prints inspired by the Sex Bob-Omb VS Katayanagi Twin stage battle from the Scott Pilgrim movie. The trouble was finding the time to do it. Enter . Out of the blue, Ven messages me looking for something to color to add to his portfolio. And here's the end result.

I wanted this print to take place thoroughly in the movie universe (as it should. This sequence was the biggest departure from the graphic novels). So, I designed my versions of Scott, Stephen Stills, and Kim Pines based on the actors rather than the Bryan Lee O'Malley designs.

It was also a challenge figuring out the angle, because in the movie scene, we pretty much see Sex Bob-Omb from Stephen's side of the stage, and obviously Scott should be the larger focus. Ven rocked out some colors over my lines, and I added a few lightning and snow effects for good measure.
