Though the trains don't run here anymore,
I sometimes feel that I've been here before.
Running straight down life's fast railroad track,
Trying my best at not looking back.
Trying to forget, my heartbreaks of the past,
Dwelling on relationships, I knew would never last.
Living in a fantasy, blinded by attraction,
Only to find misery and grief as a reaction.
Will I ever find love, one true and not a lie,
Or will I remain virgin, till the day that I die?
Lost ever to time, are my younger past years,
Growing older and timeworn, enhances my fears.
