a giant risk changing nick and icon! tons of people don't know this issue. I lost many and many contacts for this reason. Among "1000" notifications, when i don't recognize the name i close immediately it because i can't check all single contacts to see who is.... 
The issue is more heavy when the user change even the icon of the avatar.
but this time only for curiosity i clicked this.... I hope to remember this "new identity"

Thank you so much for appreciating my work though I din't like it a bit, it was really out of my comfort zone and we were given limited stocks so had to fit in with that.
And my lighting and shadows are pathetic, I 'm not at all proud of this work.. and color contrast is so poor. I really need to work on that area.

The process to learn photomanipulations is long....years. So don't worry!
Differents years agoo 2008-2009 and over, i remember well that i was more interested to the fun learning concepts...i remember well my immense fun studying tutorials. Probably more fun than create them.
So the frustration to create manip. were compensated from the study of various concepts. Like all things, more you study and you do practice and more your skill will grow. There aren't easy ways.
When i watch old personal works ----> sta.sh/012c0gc9uqrv I see the relative skill of that year and so all heavy issues. Ultra poor blend; no shadows, inexistent proportions, poor effects etcc....but who care! Those works were all precious like ore....to understand tons of aspects. Each issue meant more study and more practice! But these aspects were useless alone. Indeed in these things is completely impossible do progress alone. To do real progress is necessary study the art back experienced people above all mattepainters. The analysis must to be focused on: cut of the scene; proportions; perspective; depth; interaction with various elements; composition and relative visual story; Tones: tone lights, tone shadows and tone colors;
If you follow this path of analysis.....like a magic one day you will be able to create good things. I had understood this concept late....here on DA 4 years agoo. And in few time i remember i was able to satisfy completely my amatorial ideas

Well about manipulations in 2013, my first year here on DA I was fascinated by works like this ---> thesong.deviantart.com/art/La-… I wasn't completely able to create those things!! for this reason he was also one of mentors. I studied for long time the structure of those works! There were another giant issue.....the visual story....How create an interesting story?? Well no tutorial for this!!!!

Is necessary use tons details or 100000000000 stocks? Of course no! I work with many stocks....but in reality is wrong...but i don't have time to write the why

The real photomanipulators with an excellent skill are really few for this reason is necessary study masters in mattepainting....from them you can learn double! and here on DA we are luck because there are tons of incredible mattepainters!
They help us manipulators also with tutorials sta.sh/01zwc2eqnaxs this because those concepts are universals!

In any case the important is always and exclusive the fun.
and of course beginner or master few important because there will be always issues! Yes studying of course is possible reduce them but ever to zero! In few words issues are physiological.
Actually when i have heavy issues and im completely blocked....i do one thing. I close all and i leave all alone some day or some week. This reset the brain. Indeed when i open again the work, i fix always all.
