HISTORY
- the only kit to survive a litter born in the dark recesses of the forest, Pit was raised to fight from the very start
- his parents were rather absent, with his mother grieving her other kits and his father working to provide for them all
- as soon as he was old enough, Pit was brought out on hunts, taught to track and kill
- he watched his father fight off other predators and other cats alike from their kills, and soon fought alongside him
- eventually, his parents tried for a second litter, but this one was too much for Violet, and she perished along with the kits
- Pit felt as though he should be sad, but he hadn't had much of an attachment to the distant molly, and his life proceeded almost normally
- his father grieved and blamed himself, and one day left Pit and never came back
- Pit became a loner, wandering around as Clans and tribes began to move in closer and closer to his territory
- eventually he came across Dreamdust when the healer was gathering herbs, and confronted him rather violently about how he was trespassing
- Dreamdust, ever the negotiator, apologized and offered to bring Pit back to the Clan for an audience
- when they arrived, Tumblestar issued an apology, offering to either allow Pit to join them, or to work with them to eke out what territory he didn't want them on
- taken aback by the kindness of the Clan, made curious by their negotiations, Pit agreed to give joining them a try, though he has refused to take a warrior name
