Description
A friend of mine, the very talented Dané, is a comic fan and a great artist. He is also black and was elated to see a K'Challi film. Likewise, I'm a woman, an aspiring comic artist, and the most recent wonder woman was a hit with me. He proposed the idea we both draw these characters, as a shout out to the recognition the big cinema is finally giving their minorities. Yes, it's Marvel and DC, but that's kind of the point. All comics, all stories, and all movies ought to step up to the plate as they have been recently, sending the positive message that anyone is qualified to be the hero.

Anyways, this is the rough linearts. I decided the glass ceiling should be that of the Crain Commercial Building in my hometown of Chicago. More to come, soon.
