Hey guys! Popping In with one of my favorite characters (honestly just love the hair xD

It says update in the tile since I wanted to let you guys know what was going to be happening.
And well….my art might be changing here and there. Not a lot, but I want to try and get better. Try new things! I have gotten to a spot not many artist like getting themselves into and that’s not liking your art. Right now, I feel that way. I’m not happy with it. I feel I’m not trying hard enough.

So I tried out a few tweaks to my style by practicing with Daring Doo. I tried making the hair look more…ehhhhh…hairy??? Tried some feathering on the chests, may or may not keep those, and of course the ears. I like the way I do ears but I want to start really adding diversity to my characters. I noticed a lot of my characters, although different colors, really do LOOK the same body wise.

So I want to try and change that by giving different characters different details about them!
I really want to start working on different things i feel I’m not very good at, including hair and eyes.

I feel that I already made some progress with this art piece, even if it’s a little. Even tried a new brush!

Comic: I am no longer going to do weekly updates since I can’t. I burned myself out a lot faster than I thought I would with the comic. I feel I’m just pushing it aside which I already told myself and others I would never do. And I feel bad about it. Which is why I have been forcing myself to work on it. Almost done with page three, will be posting soon I swear! xD
But this might be because I’m not happy with parts of my style I have going. So maybe the more I get better at want I want to see, the more I will work on my comic!

Your guys interaction with the comic is why I want to keep going and the fact I REALLY want to see it done! And it will be, there’s no doubt about that. It just…might take a little longer than I thought.

I have learned a lot about art in just this past year, it’s incredibly to see how much I have grown. And I can’t wait to keep doing so.
