Personality/Background:
Dusk Rise used to be one of the happiest kids on the block. He was an alicorn, son of the co-ruler of Equastria, has an awesome and fun dad. What more could he want? Of course as a child he knew if his parents were to have a filly she would take is place as the next friendship co-ruler of equestria. But he never thought about that at all. They told him time and time again but he always pushed it over his shoulder saying it wouldn't happen. That is, until it did. They had a girl. And a runt at that. With no horn! He had his breath taken away. He became bitter. The friends he had he slowly started to distant himself from them. Planning on how to change the stupid law of no stallion can become next ruler or co-ruler unless he is the only child. Psh. Stupid. Although his magic is not entirely the greatest he started to practice over an over through hundreds of book to become better. To prove himself more. Even if he has to take the wrong road to his place back. Not only that, after Fire Bolt found out he wasn't next co-ruler he teased Dusk Rise about it. Which in turn, gave Fire a scar he will remember for a long time. As for his cutie mark, he doesn't get it until down the line. And they were surprised to have another alicorn born so soon. But unlike FlurryHeart, he was a bit...different in how he was born with his wings. While still in the womb, Twilight was practicing Magic, much to her husbands despise while carrying Dusk, until she found one where she could give a pony wings. Pricking her interest she tried it on a fruit. It all went down hill from there. Flash had burst in yelling at her to not do magic when she missed her subject and the bolt shot at a mirror straight back at her tummy. She became very sick not knowing what the affects were. That was until her son was born with wings.

Important Relationships:
After his parents had a girl he left his friends to study and hardly sees them. All but one. The only one that understands how Dusk Rise feels is Disco Ball. He was Dusks first friend. Although Disco thinks he can help his broken friend change, little does he know Dusk is only using him. He also has a great dislike for his little sister. Who he views as pathetic.
