Sadly, or perhaps not, in Sweden we have the child protection guild. Kindof. It's called BRIS (Barnens RΓ€tt i SammhΓ€llet or Children's Rights in Society) We also have the Barnombudsmannen or the Childrenβs Ombudsman.
That kinda takes the lol out of this for me. Were do americans turn when their teacers are abusive?
Also in Sweden we don't accualy use BRUS or BO for these things there are more a protection so that when the whole class get fed up, then physically beat the teachers, then drag them through the corridores outside, then rub their face with snow, then the class leaves the teacher in the snow, the teacher can't do nothing during the whole thing, cause we kids are protected by law, teachers aren't. This happened in my old school, more than once, I wasn't involved, however. So maybe the system needs some reevaluation.

Yes...too many rpgs. I was once at work thinking that it was hot and I didn't want to walk home all sweaty and smelly from work so I thought I'd use my teleport spell to get back home and save me the trip. Upon realizing that this was reality, I hit myself and drank some coffee.

What's even worse is when I'm at work and I say something like that to a customer. Or I'll be singing or something and turn around without realizing someone was standing at the counter and I have to figure out a way to cover it up but the only thing I can say is "Oh! Uhm...Hi? Heh..."

Yup, it's rather awkward for a moment and then you go off and pretend it just never happened, which is pretty much the only thing you can do...Or when you get sick and you think "HEALTH POTION!!!" And then you realize that , no, this is the real world, no health potions here, on disgusting medicine. TTATT
