well everyone came out complaining about the exam. seriously, our professor just loves saying stuff like "oh, i make dis exam wery wery easy, so jus' do yoa best, yaar?" (he's indian) and then we come out of the exam saying stuff like "of course the exam was easy for the bastard. he has a friggin' PhD in this SHIT!" so yeah.. and yeah it was metaphorical raping. LOL

seriously, i have no idea what ShoeShine's problem is (that's what we call him, cuz that's what his name sounds like). on the last exam he conveniently forgot to mark 3 questions on my exam paper, worth 30 points total. that shit. and he doesn't even bother writing whether the answer is right or wrong. i didn't even bother going to him about it because i hate him so much. i honestly don't care anymore. as long as i get around the mean and pass the class with over a C, and i get into med school, i'm fine.

I'm a fan of the old show... I expected to be disappointed.
I haven't been that wrong about a movie since the Matrix.
There are a few tiny, nitpicky things I could complain about, but MAN that was a good movie...

i saw A&D again today, this time with me sister. she's horrible at trying to guess who the villain is. she should just stick to something she's good at. like eating.
i never watched anything to do with star trek before this movie. i just knew about spock and cpt kirk because of pop culture references. i think i like the series now. should beat star wars anyway. and the matrix movies are awesome. i forgot what happened now, so i might need to rewatch them. i just need to find that DVD...

Star Wars 4-6 are awesome. 1 wasn't so bad... 2&3 are the worst things to which I've ever subjected my eyes. I'm still trying to apologise to them. I didn't watch any of the cartoon series...
Original Star Trek is awesome, as long as you remember it was done 40+ years ago, so it's not as polished as more modern stuff. Still, it's fun, and the characters are great. They did a good job of bringing out the same characters in this movie, they act and talk just like the same characters in the old show. IMHO, anyway...
As for the Matrix... When I saw the ads first, I thought 'Wow, that's going to be terrible...' My friend talked me into going to see it with him. I was wrong... So, so wrong.

oh and btw, terminator salvation was retarded. the dialogue was shitty and cliched, the explosions were obnoxious and the fight scenes didn't even have any good soundtracks to make up for their shittiness. do NOT watch it.

Terminator sounds... pretty much as I expected. Man, I hope Transformers is good, I'd hate for EVERY evil-robot-movie this summer to be crap. I've already lost all hope that G. I. Joe won't suck. Power suits? POWER SUITS? Oh, no--say it ain't so, Joe... Say it ain't so!

the lack of minor character development in the matrix movies was very shitty indeed, like to find out more about the characters you have to immerse urself in the fandomme, like buying the video games and other stuff that wouldn't even necessarily count as true canon. but meh, whut can ya do? if the creators and screenwriters were lazy, there's not much we can do about it. a strongly worded letter won't have much of an effect either.
what the new transformers movie about btw? i never bothered to find out.. and i don't know much about the G.I. joe franchise at all, but power suits sound funny. i hope they're made of vinyl. that'd be hilarious to see. or nasty. depends on whether u'd mind seeing muff men in spandex. personally i don't but meh.

Yeah--the Matrix is like Star Wars like that, though--they throw in tons of characters, and each one has a story you have to go somewhere else to find. Also, the creators got full of themselves, and stopped trying to make a good story and started trying to make a BIG story. Feh. Really, the only thing you can do is not give them money, and be ready to tell people why if they ask...
In the new TF movie (got all this from previews, so no real spoilers) Spike--er--Sam goes to college, freaks out, and starts getting this weird vision stuff. This has something to with an ancient evil returning from beyond the stars or something... And, the Decepticons are back, with many many more than before.
G.I. Joe was America's counter-terrorism unit back in the day. They were picked from SpecOps teams, mostly... That's about the same in the movie. But... I just don't understand why they have to be all roboticized...
And, no, I don't much care to see buff guys in latex--I prefer girls.
