Description
My daughter drew this "cheetahbird" a while back and it inspired me to do my own. Hers actually has a lot more character. I think this would be a perfect exercise if you were working on your character design skills. Just draw a picture of the same crazy things your kids draw.Related content

Right now she has a far better imagination than I've ever had. It's will be a blast to see what she does with it. Thanks for the praise. I'll pass it along to her.

I agree that it is the biggest thrill I can think of to watch my kids develop their own little creative world. I don't have a desire for my kids to follow in my exact footsteps... but it is a lot of fun to see them enjoy many of the same things I have and develop their own unique flair.

well, that is good that you won't press on them to do the same, art should be a liberating spot and not a force on. you keep watching them grow, evolve their creativity even if they maybe won't be artists, there is no better way to ease from troubles then to draw or make some other form of art, such a therapy, it will come in handy for them in the future, ability to express that way, no matter what they do just as they don't silence it inside

Wow, hers is a vicious-looking cheetah bird!
I like this concept. I like your rendition too. I especially like the stilt-y legs!
