Yay! Here's my contest entry for ~SEGAMew 's "Ecco 1 Year Anniversary Contest"
The star here is of course Ecco the Hedgefin!
Ecco is very excited that he has hooked such a big fish! Sonic is shocked, and very worried that the fish is way to big for Ecco and will drag him away! Shadow is just now realizing what is going on, and at the moment is slightly annoyed from the noise. XD
There's actually a little story that goes with this that I've sketched out in comic form, but I don't know if I'll ever get that done. Maybe someday I'll at least submit the sketch or line art (if I ever get around to inking it), but no guarantees.

EDIT: Okay, about the rings. Sonic is wearing one of Shadow's rings because in the story written by SEGAmew Sonic and Shadow are married. Ecco is their adopted son.

Anyway...Um...I suppose that's srs enough...So, um...Yeah. Not everything living under the sea is a fish.

crustaceans

Totally. Fish have gills, and most do not breathe air (well, technically they do, because their gills filter out air from the water), but some fish live in areas where there isn't enough air in the water so they have to go gulp air from the surface once in a while. But yeah, gills and scales = fishy. Biggest fishy in the world is an EPIC WHALE SHARK! WHALE SHARK IS BIG ENOUGH TO SWALLOW CAR, BUT WILL NOT BECAUSE IT PREFERS THE FINE TASTE OF PLANKTON.
