A Filipino fighter getting ready for battle, using escrima sticks (sometimes called kali sticks).It took me a good hour to work on that hair. I tried going for a fauxhawk style, although it's not really noticeable with the head being in a profile view. Still not sure if I should have colour-highlighted it or left it natural. What do you all think?
EDIT: Decided to go with a different color scheme. Fixed the position of the sticks as well.

It's nice to see something familiar on dA. My grandfather teaches Arnis and Kali is sorta a family tradition. The fighting stance shown is great and he indeed he looks ready to take on anything that comes his way.
