"While the egg itself is still fastened to the bottom of it's enclosure, the embryo inside has begun to move around with it's newly developed tail. Both eyes are visible from the front, and it appears that it has also begun developing two tiny, fingerless limbs and what appear to be gill filaments. Occasionally, bubbles from inside the egg escape the jelly and enter the water column- sensors indicate small spikes in phosphorus, calcium, and even some exotic carbon alloys that required further testing to identify. Already, the exponential growth and development of this (adorable) embryo is fascinating. I want a sticker of this thing for my laptop."
