Description
This is my first time attempting something like this. I am also trying to improve my skill with watercolours as I am pretty poor at utilizing them at the moment. No reference photo used, though I was inspired to attempt something like this by a user named 'agnes-cecile'. I used watercolour (hurr durr), pen and white paint.
This was also supposed to be a test - just trying different things/techniques- but it turned out alright, so I decided to post it. Apologies for the bad quality, it was taken with and iPod, haha.
Please leave a comment with criticism or compliments, thanks

I like the concept, it's really interesting.. It's one of those techniques I've wanted to try out before.. I think this could look really good if you tried again, kept practicing, and maybe made the colours more vibrant

Thanks! Yeah, well it was my first attempt, and I agree with making the colours more vibrant, as well. But yeah, practise makes perfect.

Ho...ly crap.
This... this is absolutely STUNNING. I just love how you've done the wing of the bird, how the bottom is an explosion of rainbow and then slowly gets darker as it travels up the wing. The little splotches on the side looke pretty neat, too. And the bird actually looks like a bird!
As for advice... I haven't really used watercolours all that much, so I couldn't give any that would be of use, sorry.

Wow, I am so taken aback by this comment that all I can say is, "thanks", haha. But yeah, thanks a lot, I appreciate it very much!
As for not having any critiscm, well that's fine, I'd be lying if I didn't say that I liked compliments better anyway!
