Description
Think of this as an equivalent to the N64 game roster. I included only the characters I think deserve to be in Smash the most in order to make a smaller roster rather than a huge one. I determine a character's worth to be in Smash by these factors: how long they have existed, number of games per franchise, popularity of the character and how well I know the character/franchise. I am a big fan of Nintendo, but I have not played every game/series. There are characters I would rather have them some that I included, but I felt they did not meet my requirements to be deserving to be in a more limited Smash roster.

I wanted to limit this to 30 characters, as that was the smallest size provided by machriderz.deviantart.com/ So, that meant some characters I felt should be in had to be cut. The characters I cut include: Duck Hunt, Falco, Ice Climbers, Impa, Palutena, Samurai Goroh, and Wario. They were chosen to be cut cause I didn't feel they were as worthy as the ones I included, for various reasons. This means that other than the 37 characters in the roster or that were cut, I feel they are not deserving of Smash IF there was more limited number of spaces. Again, there are characters I really like (i.e. Leon) that I like more, but aren't as worthy as the ones I included.

I encourage anyone to make a smaller roster (30 in this Builder) instead of a large one. It is a lot more challenging and forces you to make decisions on who you really want in Smash.
