This is a fictional texture for Neith, the hypothetical moon of Venus. It was spotted several times by different astronomers in the 16 and 1700’s. Other astronomers tried searching for it but with no luck. This moon appeared to be a quarter the size of it’s parent planet, similar to our moon, but, strangely, it also had a polar orbit. Some astronomers started to doubt the existence of a moon around Venus, and one astronomer claimed that it was actually another planet that had an inclined orbit around the sun, and would have a conjunction with Venus every few thousand days. But neither of these were true, and it actually turned out that most of the claimed moon sightings were actually of stars in the vicinity of Venus.
