Well he's kinda a "every one's doomed, but it''s their own fault" kind of guy and he's czeckslovakian (or how ever the hell it's spelled) and his accent is awesome lol. But he's really nice.
So far my sculpture and ceramics classes are awesome but my drawing three teacher is a bitch and I hate the fact that I still am not allowed to draw how I want. She really doesn't like me or two others in my class. Luckily she'l only be teaching for a few more weeks cause she preggers.
I wish I had stuck with the metals class, I might next sem cause it's fun. Sounds like your having a lot of fun in your class?
You and me both and lucky me I have to give a 5 min long speech with a partner (luckily) in my horsemanship class about the color white on horses. and one in my ceramics class.
Wow, sounds like we're dealing with similar things. Why is losing wieght so frigging hard?! I've had the same problem. As well as dealing with bad dad and a great mom lol. What's going on if ya don't mind my askin?
Oh and the relatives. Because of the hurricane/storm? We are having the same problem with relatives in mississippi and louisiana.
I just wish some of the rain would hit here.

i usually get out of those classes as fast as possible
yeah im learning a lot and making some new friends
luckily i dont think there are any speeches involved in jewelry making class
i absolutely hate speeches! i always get shaky and sick when i do then
they refuse to talk to one another so im the messenger ... and you know what they say about "shooting the messanger"? well if that where possible for my parents im pretty sure i would have been dead by now

I had one in 4th grade she got fired lol
I would have changed but she's the only one who teachers drawing 3 so I'm stuck. But as far as I'm concerned she can just get over it. I'll do my best to stay on the subjects she gives up but other than that it's my choice on what to draw.
Cool it's always awesome when you can have fun in a class and make friends. I would have thought that there weren't any speeches in any art classes >.>

I'm not good at critiques lol but I shall have a go.
Your lines are very nice and I like the fact you didn't go with black lines, it really adds to the picture. Your character had a lot of personality as well.
The only fall backs that I can really see is that his head is a mite bit small in proportion to his body (something I keep having problems with myself lol)
and that, in more of a personal prefrence the muscles in the stomach/6 pack are shaded a bit too hard. Do you use refrences when you draw?
Also his lips are rather nice too ;D
And yeah your colors are great. I light the gradiated background, and the skin tone fits with it because it looks like the bg is reflecting on his skin.
Seriously this semester has been insane. My drawing class is working on a stop motion animation, which is cool, except we still have to draw from life and can only do something within the guidelines.
My ceramics class is learning how to use the pottery wheels which is surprisingly harder then heck, and mid degree just started
But other than that at least my next sculpture roject my teacher said that not much thinking would have to go into it so yay lol.

We had a crazy fog bank one day, it was cool. It was like that a while back one day was in the high 70s and then the next it was in the low 40s I just about died that morning XD

Ugh my sculpture teach is like that, I asked what my grade was and he said c- because I didn't do enough work in calss. He also banned me from using my tablet in class cause I've used it during two classes and that was for research but his reply to me telling him that was, how do I know? You're always watching videos on that thing. I just stared at him for a minute cause I've watched one video in that class and it was an hour before it started. I said that I never watched them during class and he again said, how do I know? I wanted to punch him.
Practice is very helpful indeed

I can understand that, I am taking another horsmanship class and the arena we ride in is usually colder than it is outside of it :/ dont look foreward to that other than since it's all bareback so the horse will hopefully keep my bottom warm (not to mention sore lol)

hardly has anything i need so i never go there
yeah if i needed saw blades or sheet metal i always asked my teacher how much it was
i would rather have the flu to be honest

but after our first date the next time i saw him he hardly said a word to me
hasn't talked to me since and thats worse
i would rather him just tell me what happened rather than him avoiding me
and then i had my friend that i have known for 2 years asked me out on a date
so i said yes to see if it would lead anywhere
he was great talking over texting but when i got him in person he hardly ever spoke
i tried telling him that it wasn't going to work because silence makes me extremely uncomfortable
but he keeps texting me trying to corner me into another date.
things are a little screwy in my love life right now but thats not surprising since my love life has always been a little ass backwards.
