Description
After several weeks of snipping up lolly-pop sticks, sticking random bits of crap together and generally painting/covering things in charcoal and tea/making a mess, my post apocalyptic junkyard set is finished! Been in the Nick Park financed animation studio in Sheffield Hallam University snapping some pictures today, and thought I would crop it to get some interesting compostition shots. The model is actually for my 3D animation techniques for uni, where we had to build a stop motion set.
I took strong influence from the Fallout series.

Very nice. This really looks like a scene in a post-apocalyptic world. I love how much detail you put in. There's sand, all the broken wooden pieces. Is that a tumbleweed too? I also love the traffic cone and the metal cylinder. All the dust and the grime is so lovely to look at too.

Nice. I like the way you used the lighting to cast a wasteland-ish feel on the set. Keep it up!
