Odd title I know, two consecutive terms of Art History will do that to you, though.This is a commission for of her and her adorable cat, Scotty enjoying a peaceful afternoon together. Hope you like, Liz!

omg that cat is like THE most adorable thing IN TEH WORLD
ok. i see only one issue with this, and that is that her legs are bent kinda awkwardly. the pillow gives me the impression that she's laying in bed with her kitty, in which case her left leg prolly wouldn't come down like that. unless she's sitting on the COUCH in which case it would. too bad the commish didnt include a background lol

Well, actually, she is supposed to be sitting kinda on a window seat/chaise, but I could see how that could be confusing. I have done so much bed stuff lately that I didn't want to do a beddy scene *heheh*. And I too think that cat is adorable. You should go to her gallery and look him up...he is the world's cutest cat. This is positively lovely! Your subjects are always so well drawn, as though they were copied directly from life. The poses and expressions are so natural that they just seem...real and more solid then a lot of artwork.

*nods* my mom was icked by their tails at first, but my first rat's personality won her over after a while. they are just so sweet and cute <:3 really, unless someone has a deep seated phobia of rodents, i think anyone could love a rattie.

Colored pencils require lots and LOTS of layering....and having prismas is a great way to cheat *blushes* Thank you so much for your comment.

Prismas are a certain kind of colored pencils, really its just a brand of art supplies. I like to use their stuff too sometimes, but this picture is a lot better than any of my stuff, its really good. ^^"
