Was this a random character you whipped up from scratch or did you use a character that you had on DA?

Wow, this is gorgeous - I love the details. Each time I look at this I find something new to capture my attention - the delicate clothing folds, the blossoms in the trees, the texture of the grass, the shading, and just how sweet and innocent the vixen looks. You're certainly a very talented artist. c:

All of your work is simply amazing, but this is my absolute favorite of all the pieces you have uploaded today.

To start, the detail is stunning. The kimono patterns, cloth folds, fur, grass, blossoms, clouds... There is so much beauty to take in, but you did a wonderful job meshing impressionistic technique with sharp cartoon distinction to keep the emphasis on the figure. She really looks like a part of the scene, yet stands out from the scenery as the main focus of the piece. Decreasing the detail with distance created some marvelous depth. Additionally, the framing is very professional and visually appealing. I love how the grass knoll she's sitting on extends beyond the rectangular boundary of the more distant backdrop, yet another way in which you've created depth and emphasis on the character. Your shading is delicious, too, and I'm impressed by the anatomy of her feet.

Long story short, I adore this. Definite fav. Glad to see you back on DA.
