Off the coasts of Cuba, we see a Caribbean reef shark that has targeted a striped burrfish. For the reef shark, the burrfish looks like a slow-moving easy meal. But, the burrfish has a defense mechanism. As the reef shark approaches closer, the burrfish takes several gulps of water into its stomach until it expands to capacity and morphs its body into a prickly ball. The reef shark then stops from biting down on the dangerous spines. The burrfish also have a secret, yet more deadlier, weapon. Its skin and some internal organs are laced with very high toxins.
