Family: Discord (father), the Smooze (Mother?)
Cutie Mark: Incapable of gaining one

Rattle is capable of manipulating matter much like clay/earth that he can create on his own out of his own body. It's how he created his form that you see here.
Likes: Playing in mud, diving/scuba diving, treasure hunting
Dislikes: Doesn't really know, tends to like EVERYTHING (or so he says)

Rattlebrain came to be when Discord went to visit the Smooze in its dimension on his yearly visit. On his return back, Discord woke up the next day incredibly nauseous and threw up a rather messy mess.

Which started moving the moment it hit the ground. It formed into some sort of odd.... thing (not what you see in the picture above) and Discord realized that whatever IT was, it was alive. Discord's attempt to take care of it were interesting to say at the least but one afternoon, he returned from a visit to find a bird-like toddler waiting for him and not that... mess.

Discord finally gave his 'son' a name and began to properly raise Rattlebrain who isn't really as stupid as his name suggests. He can never form wings because they're too heavy to hold up (or at least, that's his excuse). What he finds incredibly interesting is that he can manipulate and create matter like mud/earth from his body (like cutting off his arm and it'll just reform again). But water doesn't affect him like it should.

Discord thinks the chaotic magic keeps him safe, which is good because Rattle loves to dive.

He created his form when he found a bunch of picture books featuring birds. He chose the male gender because Discord associates as a male.
