After a long complicated birth, mostly due to Misty not knowing she was pregnant, Caleb was born on a warm spring night. Misty had been devastated when the doctor told her she could never have another child, but was thrilled when Caleb was born healthy. She had feared greatly that she was going to lose him. Caleb turned out very rambunctious, like his father, and they often had a hard time to get him to sleep. But Mira, Misty's Borzoi mix, settled herself in a ball around the baby, letting him crawl all over her until he fell asleep on her back. Ever since, the two have been inseparable.
