• Gentle / Tranquil "Hmmm… Why don’t more cats enjoy this peaceful place?"
Karya is gentle towards others, never really being too blunt, and being kind. She has a calming energy about her, being a tranquil space to whoever needs it. She’s not the biggest fan of cats just sitting around her, but doesn’t mind the silent presence. She also has a tendency to find some of the most tranquil and beautiful places in the city, and wonders how she seems to be the only one with the back to find them.

• Reserved / Shy "Um, hi. Can I do something for you?"
Karya is the kind of girl who would much rather be left alone. She isn’t really the type to look or really accept anyone trying to be her friend. She only trusts her sister and father. If she notices someone is looking at her, she’ll acknowledge them in hopes they’ll stop and leave her alone. If that doesn’t work, she’ll wait it out in awkward silence, or she’ll run off and out of the situation.

• Creative / Inventive "I mean, it might work in theory, but we can’t know unless we try!"
What does she love to do more than anything? Test the boundaries of her intelligence while working on fun and intriguing inventions. Whether it is something to help cubs fall asleep in human care (aka orphans, or cubs without mothers, like herself) or to keep them entertained without attacking their parents’ tails. She’s likely to be able to come up with something to help.
But when it’s time she wants to relax, she turns her attention to art and painting. Letting her mind relax as she either gets down what she sees or expresses the emotions she’s been bottling up. When she chooses to paint, is a time she usually prefers to be alone, when she can turn off her mind and not have to think about a thing.

Karya hates loud sounds! They make her ears ache and head hurt. After coming across sounds too loud, the first thing she’ll do when she gets home is take a nap, as it’s the only way to release the pain. Others may say she’s lazy, but she doesn’t care and is more worried with her own health and pain. Due to how easy it is for sounds to hurt, she tends to speak quietly, having a more soft and hushed tone.

This cookie is anything but slow at learning. She picks up new knowledge and can learn new tasks faster than most would believe. She may be physically on the weaker side, but she makes up for it with brain power. Give her a new puzzle to solve? You can bet she’s going to complete it in near record timing. Let’s just say, Karya doesn’t have the most positive view. She tends to have a very bleak look on life or really anything and could rattle off the many ways the world could fall apart and everyone could be doomed or is already doomed. And she’ll say it all with a dead panned expression, not phased at all by the dreary nature of her conversations. She may also enjoy how others can be horrified by these topics, as it likely means they’ll leave her alone in peace. In peace to think of all the possible ways the world could end, she could lose her father and sister, or even the many ways she might meet her end.

• Unpretentious / Unassuming “Does it look like I care what you think of me?”
Karya is definitely unique and isn’t afraid to be so. She doesn’t care at all what others think of her, and just goes on her merry way like they don’t exist at all. She stays true to herself in whatever way she sees fit. And isn’t afraid to show her true colours or say whatever is on her mind. Because if that person matters, they won’t mind. And if they mind, then they don’t matter. She lives by this, only accepting those who accept her, and not wasting any time on anyone who just wants to judge her, change her, or are fake to her. History: Themis was brought to the city, going through taking, and set up to breed with Griffith. She hadn’t been a fan of it, but knew she couldn’t fight the wishes of the humans, but really wanted to return to her home in Rogues. During her pregnancy, she wanted to leave and return to her love, her daughters, and tribe. But it was never the right time. Holding back her labour until it was safe, she brought in 5 cubs into the world. Karya and her two sisters and two brothers; Syrinx, Calypso, Aethusa, and Acmenes.

Karya was born small and weak, like her sister Syrinx, and wouldn’t have been able to join their mother on her journey back home in rogues. Their mother took their three siblings, who had been born bigger and healthier, with her as she escaped from the city the night of their birth. As it was the only time she could. It broke Themis to leave two of her babies behind, but knew that the city demanded a sacrifice, along with them being too weak for the journey, and Themis not being strong enough to bring them all. So, the two sisters were left behind, to live with their father.

Karya has very mixed feelings about being left behind and being raised by humans and her father. Sometimes she wishes she had known her mom and taken with, while other times she’s happy she got to meet and grow up with her father, whom she loves dearly. She’s confused on who she is and where she’s supposed to be. Her mother is a Rogue, and her father is a Pet in the City, but which one was she meant to be? She wishes she knew.
