Description This is Adea’s escaping the city. She making her was home.

And here’s a little bit of her perspective and how she made her way out of the cages.

After they had first been captured, their cages had been close together. But as time went, Adea noticed that they were slowly separating her and Qamar. At first, it was Qamar that tried to keep Adea going. Promising her that he would get them out. That if they worked together, they could get home. And it almost seemed like the humans could tell, that as long as the siblings were together, taming them would be harder. As the further she was away from her sibling, it seemed that the more the strange human showed interest in her. The man seemed more than intrigued by her and seemed to be trying to push her to accept him in some sort of way. But in her eyes, she didn’t belong here. The longer she was in the cages, the worse it got. The fights were brutal, and the food was slim and lacking. She could feel herself getting slower and skinnier.
Staring at the bars in front of her, as she had heard a commotion down the long corridors. It sounded like someone else was escaping, and there was no way she was going to hesitate in joining them. She hoped that Qamar had already escaped, as she wouldn’t be able to help him on her own and needed to get out of there, sooner than later. She knew her plan was going to hurt as she stared at those bars that had kept her trapped. She got the courage and walked to them, with some manoeuvring, she was able to get her head through. Luckily her now skinnier frame meant there was less muscle to get caught on the bars as she twisted and wiggled about. Working hard and keeping a good pace as she slowly squeezed her body through the bars. She was rather sore afterwards. It felt like she might have pulled, overstrained, or damaged her muscles rather severely. With pain in each step, she quickly slinked around the tunnels and halls, sneaking out an exit. She continued this fast paced stalking until she was able to sneak past the walls.
Once she felt far enough away from the city, she let her limp show, as she slowed down to rest for a little while. She had a long journey ahead of her, and she wouldn’t get too far if she wasn’t a little easy on her body. Her now bruised and scarred body… She only hoped that she hadn’t been gone for too long. That she had a chance to watch her baby siblings grow, and that her parents would still comfort her when she got home. That she would find comfort and rest and not be viewed as a failure for taking as long as she had. Though, looking back, she was starting to feel a little seed of pride. She did it, she set herself free, without help. She was more capable than she had ever previously thought. This helped to motivate her, as she pushed herself to keep going just a little further, she was going to make it home, and she was going to prove herself worthy.
