Personality: She’s an adventurous and destructive gal who enjoys the thrill of chasing and facing her opponents; more than willing to run across country or continent, endure the harshest of environments and no matter the threat to track down who she considers prey. She also carries a fairly carefree mind, doing whatever she likes when out in open space but understands whenever she needs to show some restraint when surround by someone or something vulnerable.
Nara was born and raised in America in a log cabin where she grew up becoming an expert hunter; from handling all forms of firearms and traps to being able to locate all kinds of animals from even the faintest of footprints and scent. She grew up a fairly normal life, doing exceptionally well in science, made a few friends and would go on holidays to Tanzania to visit her mothers village. When reaching the age of 20, she visited Tanzania with her family for their usual holiday, but she hired for a hunting job to track down an elephant that has been reported of causing trouble against the other elephants; little did she know that this elephant would almost bring her to her death after impaling her with their tusk before Nara was able to put down the raging giant. Though badly injured, she was able to return to her village but passed out before she can hear the villagers running towards her aid. To her luck, she was able to recover despite waking up to the aching in her stomach and how she can barely move from the bandages; and beside her was the shaman that had treated her wound. Nara thanked the shaman for saving her life and asked if there was anything she can do to pay for her treatment, to which the shaman replied that there was no need for payment since she grew up fondly with her mother; but she would like her help with a special remedy that was made to try and “help her.” This remedy the shaman offered was to drink an unusual blend of herbs and berries that would supposedly make her “the perfect hunter,” to which Nara offered to drink the blend since she wanted to pay the shaman for helping her recover. To Naras and even the shamans surprise, the blend suddenly started taking effect, but not in a way that the two expected; Nara grew twice as tall as the elephant that attacked her, her hair formed into a solid piece of stone mass, her legs and arms became armoured and muscular and grew a tail that could earthquakes from a light tap of the earth. Nara looked down at herself, feeling confused and enraged at what she became, storming out of the village to look at her reflection from a nearby river; not noticing some of the damage she caused from her outrage. She looked at her reflection and couldn’t help but tear up from disgust, questioning the reality she was now faced with as some monster she saw, until her mother had chased her down to confess to her about how she’s not the only person here who sees themselves as a monster. Nara’s mother reveals to her that behind her human body, the mother possesses the traits to that of the Gbahali, but she tried her best to not let that affect her life and that no matter what she looks like, she’s no different than the girl she had raised; her daughter. Nara teared up at first and couldn’t help but hug her mother out of comfort after the confrontation, and after coming to terms that she’s going to be stuck like this she headed back to village with her mother and helped rebuild the stuff she destroyed in the village, making up for the breakdown she had over her new body. Nara still struggles living with this new body of hers from time to time, but she’s come to found new ways of adapting to this new body; allowing her to still enjoy her hunting activities but also getting into some more destructive labour.
